Our wood duck cam is now live and we believe it will be able to support large amounts of users.  The eggs should hatch Memorial Weekend.

Pass the link on to friends and family and let us know if you see something worth taping as we are recording every second.

I thought you might get a kick out of the news paper articles below.
ERC won the 2008 bronze medal at the Minnesota inventors Congress for the K-9 solar lounge.
ERC installed the first Enphase micro inverter system in the state that was in the Solar home tour on Sat. Oct. 4th.
The Enphase Inverters are fantastic, and with the enlightened system we can monitor customers individual panel and
total system performance anywhere that we have an internet connection. We had a laptop on wireless outside and could
show the status and performance of the Sharp, Enphase system. We blow people away, they were so impressed with the Enphase
monitoring systems capability's. With the new technology's and the removal of the Federal solar tax credit limit of $2,000 on
residential structures, now is the time to Invest in a Solar system for your home. We also have the State Rebate program back in place.

The CEC list of approved modules is being reduced from 1400 to 300 modules.  Make sure yours are on the list by buying them from ERC  where we only sell CEC-approved modules.  Buying those no-name cheap modules straight off the boat might not be the best idea. Stick with a reliable partner and reliable products.

Sharp proudly announces the release of two higher output modules.  These mono-crystalline products are designed to help you maximize space in both residential and commercial applications. The superior aesthetic of their 230 watt, black frame and black back sheet module is ideal for residential applications, while their highest efficiency, 235 watt module lends itself to commercial applications.

SHARP THIN FILM FOR LARGE SCALE COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

Sharp's new module feature a Tandem-junction structure.  The top is amorphous Si and bottom is Sharp's proprietary microcrystalline Si, which brings forth higher performance and stability than previously thought possible for thin film.

Features:

  • Over 100 W per module:  Less labor, racking and fasteners than   other thin film modules.
  • Low temperature coefficients:  Approximately 10% more power in warm climates.
  • High voltage design:  Open circuit voltage near 240 V for more efficient string sizing.
  • Simplicity:  Allows for simplified array wiring with a centralized +/- buss in the array field.
  • Optimized module size:  Small enough for one person to handle.
  • Low long-term degradation:  Less than 0.25% average annual degradation.
  • Pre-matched pallets:  Leading to more efficient strings.
  • Single-layer glass:  Lower pounds per watt accomplished by using a flexible, lightweight polymeric backskin instead of glass.
  • Four bypass diodes:  Continued operation without putting cells into reverse bias, even when shaded.
  • Anodized aluminum frame:  A robust mounting frame allows multiple mounting options.
